Killian received an Achievement Certificate for Extreme Bravery tonight at our Residents Association Meeting…
“On behalf of the EMBC Residents Association, I would like to present this award to Killian Brockunier for heroism above and beyond his normal daily routine, without any fear for his own safety, he alerted his mistress to the two burglars that were lurking in the courtyard.
Thanks to Killian’s keen senses and alertness, the police were able to apprehend these two criminals , before they harmed any residents or stole any of our belongings.
Again we all give our thanks to our brave friend Killian.

His reward was a catnip mouse toy from the Association and two bags of treats from neighbors.
His mommy is very proud of him…
Busy Day…

Today was really a busy day…
Started the morning by heading up to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. It was 3 degrees outside. You can believe that I was wearing my long-johns under my jeans and my big coat over all my clothes.
Met my pulmonologist for the first time – and I really like her. She seems to be very thorough. Had some blood work done and then I had a Pulmonary Function test run. It was tough…but, I made it through it!
She has scheduled an echocardiogram and a sleep study…so, I should be hearing when those tests will be run. She really wants to make sure I get stabilized with the asthma and COPD…
Then I had to rush home – and go to my cooking class. Ran in to drop off my coat and pick up my book…as I was just seconds from the class starting.
It seems that a certain little guy – 
escaped. Yep… Somehow he got out and was out for 45 minutes. It seems he was hiding out under the puzzle table in the foyer of the second floor (right next to the elevator)…and one of the residents sat down to work on the puzzle and he came up nuzzling her leg and meowing…she told him to go home – and he walked with her down to my door and just sat…since I wasn’t home – my neighbor who feeds him opened my door and he went right in.
At least he knows where he lives!

Guess who…Mom is in bed and I’m playing with her laptop! It’s so cool…
Anyway, Mom was working in her storage closet today pulling totes in and out and arranging things – and suddenly she said “Oh – and a bad word that I’m not allowed to say – seems she might have pulled some muscles – cause she’s all curled up with the warm pads on her back reading a book…
I think she will see you tomorrow!

Mom has really been busy today – and she is wicked tired! So, I told her I would let you all know that she will be back tomorrow. I told her she needs to go rest and read her book…then go to sleep!

I haven’t been here for a while – cause Mom has been hogging the computer. But, she’s busy washing dishes – so, I’m grabbing it.
You know we moved … and I love our new apartment - My favorite place to be is here:
This is Mom’s bed – and from here I have a view of the world. There is this nice huge window that I can see out…and it overlooks the woods. Would you believe one day I saw another CAT down there?
I also like the balcony – but, I made a big mistake and stuck my foot and head through the fence part of it – and now I’m not allowed out there.
Everyday I get to go out into the hallway and see my special friends that work on puzzles - they have a nice alcove there and I go and talk to them and get petted.
It’s a good life here – and my Mom is very happy…
