It’s that kind of day…

But, the only one sleeping was Killian.  I did get up late – but, then ate breakfast, took a shower, and left to visit a friend for a little while and then head for my doctor’s appointment.

Let’s get the doctor’s appointment out of the way…I am doing well with the diabeties!  And, I now weigh 137 – down from 153…so, I lost 16 pounds.

Got to visit with Mother.  She was in a really happy mood – but, I’m not at all sure she realized it was me.  But, that’s okay…She was honored last month by being chosen Resident of the Month…

Dropped by the farm of a friend of mine – first time I’ve seen it…and oh, it was so nice.  Got to meet all the dogs!  And, the horses – one which is just HUGE!  Beautiful horses…

Saw some brand new little chickens…they were so cute and yellow yellow.

Other than that it is a quiet rainy day…

That’s great, that you have dropped 16 pounds – a fantastic effort, you must be very pleased. Today was quiet, cool and almost rainy here, and about as busy as your day!

Good for you, Sara! It’s such a challenge to manage diabetes — you’re doing great! (And did you have to buy new clothes? 16 pounds is enough for a new wardrobe. . .)

Congrats on a nice weight loss and on doing well with your diabetes. The farm visit sounds like it was fun and I’m glad that your mother was so happy when you were there.
